Bogging
So last night I went driving up some windy mountain roads, pushed the car somewhat hard staying in first and second gear most of the time, after about 30 mins I starting feeling a very strong bogging in the lower rpms in second gear, check engine light came on and started flashing, bogging persisted in second gear. Friend who’s a mechanic came over today with his code reader and we got codes: 2293 fuel pressure regulator 2 and 2181 cooling system performance, time for a new fuel pressure regulator? Any one else have a similar experience? 2008 A4 2.0T for reference.
