Default Brakes??

I just bought a 2004 A4 Avant Ultra Sport. It has 65k miles and runs great, although its a tad slow on acceleration being an automatic. I'm thinking of popping a chip in to get it up to 215 hp or so and the added torque to boot. My question is are there any considerations I should be taking in terms of adding stronger brake calipers (and brake components)? I'll probably get a brake job done before enhancing the performance which is also a concern, whether getting better pads and rotors in advance is worth it or not.
Are the stock Ultra Sport brakes good enough for a 50-75 hp boost?

you should be asking this question in the B6 a4 forum if your a 2004. But with my chip my brakes are doing a great job with braking even with the higher amount of power. You can upgrade your brakes, but unless you track your car or have heavy modifications i find it a optional expense.

I found the B6 brakes to be rather crappy. The B7 breaks are MUCH better. First thing I'd do is put in new pads and see what you think. That should help a lot.
