I have a very strange problem with my 2006 A4 2.0T FWD. The word "fuse" is displayed where my odometer is usually displayed. This happened a little while ago today. My clock is also reset. Here is the scary part. The tripometer is working normally however every time i restart the car it resets to its original mileage. I dont want to mess with it bc im afraid the dealer is gona think i was tampering with my odometer. First off is my odometer recording the milage or is only the tripometer losing the memory? Second if the odometer isnt recording will the car save how many miles i travel so that my odometer can be corrected after the fuse (where ever it is) is replaced.

Just open the side panel where the fusebox is, change the fuse and dont take it to the dealer....if you dont want hassle
