Default changing side markers - what a b****

I thought it would be easy, but I guess I just don't have the touch...

Using this post as a reference, I removed the under tray in the front. However... even after that, I still had no access whatsoever to the marker on the driver's side.

Anyway, I had to break the tab off the passenger-side marker just to remove it, and at that point I just said WTH and drilled out the driver's side marker, and pulled it out in pieces.

FWIW, I went with clear markers on quartz; the smoked looked too dark in pictures, and I figured the clear would look more consistent with the sidelights and headlamp assembly. I think it looks okay, but body color probably would have been better.

Default I had bit of trouble on the DS (pulling the wheel well liner back), but PS no problem (same way)...

The driver's side had the washer fluid resevior and you had to remove the factory reflector blind, but it was doable after seeing and doing the passenger's side first.
