Dealer financing question
I don't have an A4 YET. And I had no plans on talking to a Audi dealership, but....
I took a call at work today (I'm in customer service for a cable company) and I had to call her back. She gave me her work number and it turns out she works at Flemington Audi. Of course I blurt out that I was looking to get a used A4. She wasn't in sales, but said she would give my info to a sales guy. I get home and there is a message on my machine from a salesman. So although I am still on the fence about taking on a car payment, I call him back.
I told him what I was looking for and asked about financing. He said the rate is about 5.9%. I asked about the 1.9& and 2.9% financing I have seen in ads/TV and he said that is a teaser rate and the loan term is usually 24-36 months, so the payment is usually more then double what a 5 yr term pmnt would be. Is 5.9% a good rate, or can I get something lower? Thanks

Dealer needs a quick kick (in the ***) start
I don't keep up with Audi Finacial rates but if they are offering the 1.9/2.9% rates and you qualify you should get that rate.
Dealers make money off of other bank loan packages that are not related to AFS and try to push you into them.
Demand the AFS rates or go to another dealer that will work with you.

Some answers to your questions...keep in mind all depending on credit
Looks like you want a 2006
Currently they are offering.
05-06 CPO models .9% up to 60 months in the SoCal markets could differ on regions but I doubt if your not a push over....
Good luck, the dealers are hungry for sales right now!

Yes, I was looking at a 2006. Of course I would love a 2008, but I don't think I can afford it.
Wow, .9% is great! I'd even be happy with 2.9%. Unfortunately, I am in NJ. I'll have to ask the salesman the next time we talk. I told him what I want and he is going to search for me and call me in a week or so.

Re: Dealer financing question
I purchased an 06 A4 which had CPO as well back in the end of Feb., and got the 0.9% financing through Audi. I am pretty young too (22), and didn't have to have a co-signer. I also live in your region (PA) so this isn't a region thing, looks like your dealer is trying to screw you.
