We looked at an Avant 2.0T today with a sticker of $38500. Best deal he would give was $500 off sticker. Are these hard to find? What can we expect to pay? Invoice looks to be $35860.

I got $1500 on each of my A4s and so did a friend of mine. It wasn't great, and we knew it, but at some point you want to drive the car home. My B6 was off the lot, my B7 I ordered, and same deal.

No wonder that's an incredibly rare car. No wonder they wouldn't discount. The fact you're on it is going to keep them from dealer trading it too. Just go hammer them you should be able to get them down another $500 or so. It is the end of the month;-)
