Do the '08 MY 2.0T engines have the updated fuel system parts that were involved in the TSB..
regarding the cams and the regulators? I had a CEL come on after having APR stage 2+ installed which was an "insufficient fuel pressure" which was cleared and hasn't been back after vigorous driving. Could that have been a fluke one time or is it possible the '08 has fuel part issues?

The lack of capacity of the high pressure pump has never been addressed...
and likely will not be. It works for stock cars. In the same manner folks need bigger injectors on the B6 for running a k04 or aggressive k03 file, the B7 folks need upgraded fuel pumps. The issue that audi supposedly addressed is the weak cams by putting in a B cam but this has not solved the problem. The buckets still wear through causing failures. I wouldnt hold my breath for audi to address this.
