Hai friends I got an 2006 Audi A4 2.0t I came to notice that my driver side door was not getting locked or unlocked with the remote key rest of the doors were good and I can lock and unlock all doors form lock button on the door can you please help me that why it's happening

lol I have the same problem, with a new to me 2008 audi a4 quattro 2.0T with 100K miles. I just bought a new actuator on eBay, plan on replacing it to see if it resolves the issue.. With mine you can almost hear it kind of trying, could be a wiring issue though too, as I understand the door wires can get kinda mangled after 10 years of opening and closing the driver door.

I've heard of the cable loom in the door to door frame getting mangled, I check mine and it was all good so I replaced the door lock mechanism and problem fixed.

Theres some discussions about pulling these apart, there are 3 or 4 microswitches in the lock that apparently are the cause, but I'm to old to waste time.
I used aftermarket ones and they worked fine.
I replaced 2 on the golf, 2 on the B7 and 2 on the allroad, all are 10+ years old so maybe thats the lifespan of a door lock.
