Default Electrical issues

Several weeks back I started getting a warning about my right rear fog light not working. Figuring it was the bulb, I swapped in a new one. However, that still did not work. Swapped bulbs with the left and the bulb is fine.

Checked at the socket and get 0V on the right. A few days later I also noticed my rear wiper not working, the little light on the tailgate lip not working and the trunk interior light not working.

Pulled the tailgate apart and all the wiring at the hinge area is fine. Working my way back into the car, there is a small 4 pin connector near the base of the c pillar for the rear fog lights. Sure enough, I get 12v for left, but 0v for the right.

I swapped in a new J519 but it made no difference. Tried to identify which connector in the driver's side footwell behind the kick panel is for the rear fog lights, but even with disconnecting and trying every one, the left rear fog always came on. So, that made testing the wires there a non starter since there are at least 50 and I have no idea which go to the rear fogs.

In my searching for a solution, I found 2 people with the exact same problem, but neither one ever posted the solution.

Anyone have any ideas where to check? I get the sinking feeling I am going to have to dismantle the entire interrupt to remove the carpet and trace the wiring from the c pillar forward. Which, since I assume it will be covered in tesa tape will be a nightmare.

Any suggestions, advice, tips on resolving this.

Thanks.
