Fogging of the windows
Hey,
I haven't been able to keep up with the forum for the past 3 weeks so I'm sorry if someone adressed this subject in the mean time.
Have any of you noticed constant fogging of the windows when the air conditioning is turned on heating in the car? Even if I leave it in auto mode or set the air direction manually every 10-15 minutes the windows will start getting foggy. On the A3 I never had this problem.

It doesn't matter if it's Auto or Econ. I don't use the Econ mode too much either.
I just remembered the second issue. At the same temperature, the Econ mode blows hotter air, has anyone else noticed that? If I set it for 24°C, for example, it will blow a much cooler air in normal mode than in Econ. I usually use Econ mode just to heat up the car quickly then leave it on Auto, still, I get the fogging. I would ask at the dealer but they had no clue what was wrong when I was missing 16 semerings on the A3, doubt they'll have a clue now.

Econ just shuts off the A/C compressor
even when it's cold out, the system still uses the AC to take moisture out of the air. That's why you you're not supposed to use econ and recirculate together in cold weather. It's in the manual.
