Heating Problem
Hi,
On a A4 2008 2.0t, how long should it take for the engine to warm up on a cold day around 30 degrees. I been hearing problem about these cars having heating problems plus now I got a code po2181.

I had a very similar issue, my car ('06 2.0) wouldn't heat up (water temp needle never made it to the 12o'clock location). Most of the time my drive to work is under 10 mins, but one day, I had to drive to a remote location, and the CEL came on, /w a p2181 code. I replaced the thermostat housing. Since then the car will get to that 12o'clock position on my short drive to work. So to answer your question, on my 2.0 it will get to temp in 8-10 mins, (if that - never really timed it), unless the thermostat is stuck open.
