hesitation question

Default hesitation question
When I come to a stop and then go to take off the car hesitates before it kicks in.....is this normal? Is this happening to anyone?

Default Tiptronic will hesitate from a start in "D" Switch to "S" and see if it stops
Gear change is almost instant. It's very annoying. I usually drive in S to avoid that.

Default Mine does the same thing. Hesitates
They really should reprogram the transmission to stay in gear 2 until a COMPLETE STOP occurs. The shift from 2-1 when coming to an ALMOST complete stop and then giving some gas jerks the car big time.

used to drive me nuts, almost got me killed, now im used to it...

Its not tiptronic, but I'll drive in "S" to avoid it as well..thanks guys
