How many miles does a full-tank go on your cars ? mine used to go 300 for a full-tank and now

Wow. I would crap in my pants if I see 0 miles left. How did you know...

that you could still drive up to 20 miles more after 0? I mean the reading is obviously just an estimation, but I thought I could drive just a few miles more.

It's a Jetta 1.9 tdi with DSG tranny :)

Chipped she's got about 130 hp and 225 lb torque. I get a consistent 42 mpg in mixed driving.

I find that intriguing!

Thats a fact. Maybe since i have a 2 litre engine without turbo or quattro. Long distance i got yesterday 435 miles for 3/4th of the tank(exactly 52 litres). Ok that was on highway but the road was not flat, it had uphills and downhills. You must be definitely having a lead foot. I usually put the cruise control on(maybe that has an effect) !!!
