iPhone sync w 2007 A4 bluetooth prep with DIS. No NAV.
been searching the net and the forums for several
days now. It seems that if you have the NAV installed that the iPhone can pair w the A4.
Has anyone had success pairing the iphone to
a NON NAV a4?

hmmm. OK well. did you have to go through any steps? My Samsung d807 pairs right up. The iphone
just sits there dumbly searching. I've tried
w the bluetooth on and off.
Mine is an early 2007 w the symphony radio.
I wonder if it is a model year thing, maybe
only works w the BOSE radio. grasping at straws:
Does you phone see the message
"connect with audi UHV" ?
that's what I would get on my Samsung.
What steps did you have to go through to pair it?
thanks everyone

thanks. I'll give it another try.
Your 2.0T sounds looks pretty rad from the
specs. Mine is just a 2.0T Q Auto, w convenience
and sport, and the leveling lights. I'm on a
2 year lease so no real plans to chip her.
Only mods were to debadge the rear.
The 2.0T is great even with the auto. As long
as you are not waiting for the torque converter
to catch. The 2.0T and 6AT are much quicker than
the 1.8t and auto.
FWIW. I do have 2 ALFAs both w manual trannies.
As a comfortable daily driver I love my auto.

Success : iPhone sync w 2007 A4 bluetooth prep with DIS. No NAV.
Thanks pekb7.
I guess I gave up too soon.
I turned the BT off on the iphone.
turned the BT back on. Iphone >> searching for devices.
Unlock my car. turn key to power on but
do not start the motor. It sees the Audi UHV.
fails to sync the 1st time. Asks me to enter the
pin. I do 1234.
start the car. press the mode button. Wait 3 minutes for my contacts to load.
Now I can dial out via my BT. Shweet !!!
