Just drove a B7... The brakes seem to be much better than the B6

What did they change? I just touched the B7's and the car stops. My B6 even new was never like that.

B7's have the B6 S4 brakes. The rotors are just a bit smaller than the S4's though.

Can I do anything regarding my brake pads to make my B6 better?

Like if I went to ceramic or something?

Axxis ultimates would be a fairly inexpensive upgraded pad for the B6.

I'd try fronts-only first just to see if you feel as if it does anything significant for your tastes.

Upgrading to aftermarket pads and doing a brake fluid upgrade should do the trick,

here's the scoop from my A4 SSP, rear brakes are derived from S4...

specifically the calipers, but use a slightly smaller piston (41mm vs ??? in S4), and use a solid rear disc(288mm x 12mm). The front rotors are 320mm x 30mm, not sure what front components are from the S4. Just wanted to clear that up.
