LOL... I'm not an old schooler, but fwiw I think a lot of people who were just bailed on the new format. Frankly, I kind of agree. It might be more modern or whatever, but I preferred the old format of viewing threads and subject-only posts et al. Wild theory: it might take a second generation of newcomers who adopt the new format to revive the life on the forum.

good point. i was thinking along those lines too...
not that there's anything wrong with it, but there has been an infusion of new folks asking questions that would have never made it past the old guard without a snide "STFA" or "post eleventy!".

SHHHHH you're not supposed to mention TOF!! I've migrated there too but only after work. It's blocked! I prefer KAWF myself. vB is just annoying since there's SOOO much scrolling.
