License plate holders
My plates came in and I picked them up yesterday. I really didn't want the dealership frames, so I asked him to leave it off the front, but decided to leave the one in the back. He said the plate in the back might make noise (vibrate) w/o the frame. Is that true? Should I get frames for the plates or just leave them w/o the frame?

i have 4 screws in mine
which helped another way, because apparently someone thought it would be funny to rip off my license plate. but because i had 4 screws, they barely bent it. if i didn't have the two bottom ones, they could have bent it all the way up

What the hell is wrong with people? Touching your property...thinking nothing of the damage. UGH!
Sorry, but I still get pissed when I think about our GPS that was stolen last year. I bought it for my husband for his bday in March and it was stolen within a month or so. They smashed his driver's side window on his Jeep and stole it. Yes, I know it shouldn't have been in the plain sight to begin with, but it was the one day he forgot to bring it inside...
Our association president has his stolen out of his 3 series BMW that same night. So obviously no one felt like we lived in that kind of neighborhood.
Apparently the cops were on the hunt for these guys that were going from town to town stealing GPS units.

Remind me not to park in your town.
I don't leave my GPS out, but I do have a Proclip mount attached to my dash. When I'm in an unfamiliar neighborhood, I'll often take off the Garmin clip, so all that remains is the Proclip bracket.
I called a friend of mine yesterday just to say hi. And he was in a pissy mood. Turns out somebody dented his car. He thinks it was neighborhood kids, possibly skateboarding. I felt bad for him.

This is what you need...
I let the dealership put their frame on the car when I bought it. I insisted that it have no decals on the metalwork, and they assured me that they never put stickers on their cars. But I agreed to allow a dealer plate frame.
No sense creating ill will right from the start.
When I get around to it, I'll get another Audiworld frame.
Does anyone know if AW still sells the metal frames? Or just the plastic?
