Default This may sound crazy but ...

Is it possible to make my FWD A4 B7 quattro? How much would it cost and what parts are needed? Changing my car might cost much more than 'just' doing the swapp. Anyone with comments are well appreciated.

Default It is crazy...a lot of expensive work unless you were planning

to do it yourself. You might want to check but this will probably void some or all of your remaining warranty.

Cheaper and easier to trade for a quattro.

Default Agreed. The tranny alone will be several thousand... even used at least $2,500-3,500

Not to mention you need the rear diff, shafts, suspension mods, and I would think software programming as well (Because of ESP). And lets not forget about the installation... that's not gonna be cheap.

Trade it in, it will be cheaper.

Default It will be much cheaper to trade for a different car...

Think about everything that is different. Even the gas tanks are different between quattro and fwd A4s. You'll end up replacing half of the car. The end result will be a frankenstein one-off with little resale value.
