Default multitronic stuck in park/sticky

I have been lurking for some time. I have tried googling anything and everything about this issue. I may just not know how to correctly word it and that is why im not finding results.

I'm at my wits end with this shifter!

2007 Audi b7 A4 89,xxx miles. I have never had any problems with the car before until about 2months ago. My battery had died so I went bought a new one replaced it wam everything worked find but now it was throwing codes/lights for the tcs and something else. after clearing them ( after new battery install ) everything was perfect.

Shortly down the line my shift started to get stuck in park. My foot is on the brake but the message still shows apply foot to pedal blah blah. ya i was scratching my head like a monkey by then, I pumped the brakes a little and bam message still there but I am able to shift into gear. I never have a problem getting out of Drive but sometimes on the way to park it'll get stuck in Neutral.

I can apply pressure to the brake before starting the car and turn it on and shift no problem until I have to park or some crap.

I already changed the brake light switch and that didn't solve anything.

If you want I can take a video and post it, not sure if it'll help but im losing my mind and there is no way im bringing it to Audi of Greenwich and pay $130/hr for just a diagnoses.

Default

the computer chip(which in the cvt box) may have some problem.

it can be reset(u can't do it urself) in the repair factory

but if that not work u normally have to replace that computer chip...

it cost a lot..

and u also can try to repair the chip alone the cost is better...
