My 2008 S-Line is not really an S-line? Huh?

My 2008 S-Line is not really an S-line? Huh?
Summary of what my dealer just told me.
- All 2008 A4 4-door sedans had their bodywork branded with the "S-Line" logo, regardless of the suspension installed.
- Some had "sport suspension" installed as an option (and my car supposedly did).
- Having "sport suspension" is not the same as the S-Line "package", and my car delivered with 17' rims (instead of 18") because I apparently don't have the S-Line package (even though my car says S-Line).
Did anyone else get 17" wheels on their 2008 A4? I'm not sure if he was talking about 2008, or the 2008.5, but mine is '08.

Well, I guess I don't have to buy 17" rims for winter tires. I already have them 
Or should I drop down to 16" rims? I wonder if they would be big enough to clear the breaks.
Then there is the problem of the TPMS sensors....

Yep, it was one of those things Audi does to "freshen" the last iteration of a body style. Mine is
that way also - 17 in. twin spoke wheels. Coilovers are in my future, I guess. I do feel the non-sport suspension on this B7 is on par with the Sport suspension on my B6 A4 - so some progess was made.

S line is standard on 2008 models, interior S line is extra and gives you a 3 spoke steering wheel and the colour center display, plus 18" (5 spoke)and sport suspension.

All the 2008 A4's come with the S-Line exterior parts - bumper, sills, badges.
If you got the "S Line Sport Package" that included...
Leather Seating Surfaces
Sport Suspension
18" Wheels and All Season Tires (the RS6 style wheels and Pirelli P6 All Seasons)
Brushed Aluminum Beltline Trim (inside)
Multi Function Steering Wheel (which includes an S-Line badge, also paddles if you have Tiptronic)
I think also you get the aluminum pedals if you get S-Line package with a manual transmission (I think)
