DSG coming for MY2008
In fact for MY2008, Audi will phase out tiptronic and replace it with DSG throughout the line up worldwide. Porsche will do the same for MY2008. From the A4/S4/RS 4 and up, DSG will be a 7 speed rather than a 6 speed. It is up in the air as to whether DSG will be optional inplace of the 6 speed stick or replace the 6 speed stick on models where the 6 speed stick is standard.
