Picked up our A4 Avant 3.2 this weekend!

After 4 years in a nice Passat, my wife developed the new car itch. It took ample hunting (Avants are not easy cars to find in SoCal), but we found her dream car in NorCal through a great SoCal dealer (Abtin at Santa Monica Audi is highly recommended).
It has a few things that we might not have opted for if these cars were plentiful (e.g. winter package), but we were lucky to find the car, so no complaints. Here's the scoop:
A4 Avant 3.2 Quattro Tiptronic
Bright Silver on Platinum
Premium Package
Sunroof Package
Technology Package
Navigation Package
Premium Leather
Parktronic
Winter Package
Walnut Steering Wheel
Sirius
Lo-Jack
Check the link below for all the pics.
So far, my favorite features are the engine (woohoo) and the SDRAM slots for MP3 playback.
BTW, if anyone's interested in buying a great Passat V6 GLX 4Motion with low mileage, please check out:

I'm a prior B5 A4 1.8T and TT 225 owner (I was on these forums a few years back), now driving an R32. My wife has owned 4 VWs but she finally broke away...to Audi (not far away)!

Re: jeebus, that thing is loaded, what was the approx sticker price?
Yeah -- the only other car in CA that was close (with a few less options) was already sold. Our dealer repeatedly searched the entire Western region.
Sticker was $46,610 (if I remember correctly). We're leasing the car, so the extra options didn't sting too badly.

No price is right
Have almost same package Tanner, except manual, was $58,000 CDN plus the goverment (15% here boys)
V6, bose, prem leather..... all pricey.
Your going to love the car, and she will get faster, first around 5000KM, then again around 10,000 KM.
I believe it is in the engine software.
So happy to get this over BMW (blew 325 away yesterday)

Re: No price is right
Yeah the price for the 3.2L is quite a bit more.
I don't think it's much of software related attributed to the engine running better at those intervals but rather the breakin. Properly broken-in engine will be running very strong at that mileage. I'm at about 20000km right now and the thing pulls pretty good, in fact, I think it's better now than it has ever been.

Maybe
Like I said, I have no proof, just think it is odd everyone reports power increase around same mileage marker.
Hey we should switch cars sometime, so we can get this 3.2 vs 2.0 chipped deal answered
