You can't forget that interior color makes a huge difference as well....
35% on a black interior will end up looking a lot darker than on beige interior... Also a more reflective tint will be harder to see through then say matte black...
also this is the kind of thing that is hard to see in pictures due to angles and lighting.
In other words I have 20% tint on beige interior which in all sincerity I find to be too light and still easy to see through, yet in this picture below you would think it was limo tint due to angle and lighting...

Sorry I don't have a picture of 35% to help you out, I just wanted to point out that tint is hard to photograph.

That is very state dependent... my tint is past the legal limits in Florida and I've never had a ..
problem, yet others have been cited with fix it tickets and have issues. It really just depends.
