Hello! I have a 1.9 tdi 2005 b7, a few days ago the engine was no going well and i had to rev the engine to about 2000rpm to get it in first gear (otherwise it would not run). I could drive the car but it was down on power (could go 100kph). Today i open the egr valve, and it was so dirty, but once i put it back in after cleaning it, the car would run fine on idle for about 4-5 seconds, when it would then choke and not run (every time i started the car alot of grey smoke came out of the exhaust)
now i would be sure that the particle filter is to stuffed, but i can’t make the car run anymore.
could this be the particale filter being to stuffed for the engine to run? (It does not help to give more throtlle, as the engine will only go 1500 rpm and then die)
Thank you for answers
