Hi, im new to this site and new to Audis. Well its my first car so I dont know much about cars either. Ive been having some problems with my car and i just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing these.

1. Gas tank sensor never shows full even when gas overflows when i pump
2. Computer never shows when my washer fluid is empty
3. My wiper blades seem to be **** in that unless i dump a lot of fluid on it it wont wipe properly
4. i have a canadian car so at 8000Km its supposed to say SERVICE but at 5000km it said it. could it be a mix up between miles and km??
5. I didnt get the technology package so i have the standard computer, but there seems to be more options in the manual than i have access to.
6. Is there no track repeat option on the stereo?? (the standard stereo)
7. (this one's my fault) I avoided an accident by pulling really fast to the right and my friend (who was sitting in the back) flew to the left and his elbow landed right on the window switch (the thing that makes the window go up and down) and the thing went IN. Is there a way i can get it out?

Any exterior upgrade recommendations are appreciated.

1. Had the same problem. Had the sensor recalibrated.
2. Never ran out of washer fluid. I was the car once in 2 days so I don't know.
3. I have some problems with the wiper blades as well. Ever since I got it they really 'scratch' the windows and make a horrid noise. Let's both try changing the blades and see what happens
4. Maybe you didn't switch from Miles to KM in the Units section of the Driver Information System.
5. What do you mean? I only know of one computer in 2 variants. Color or monochrome.
6. You should have a separate booklet for the radio. Check that.
7. Yes. Take it to the service.

I'm also looking for exterior upgrades. If you find any nice ones (not Rieger or the likes) maybe you share

i had the same problem with the servicing at 5000km...though b4 i brought the car in they told me it wasnt necessary (it was going in because my keys didnt work) but apparently when i got there audi's technician (at agincourt autohaus) recommended that i do it anyways..
so i think you should take it to service

I really think this batch of cars got screwed on the computer's programming.

The trip computer does not have the additional functionality shown in the manual unless you have the tech package.

4. My car, canadian version, also says 5000km for the first service. I'm wondering if this is correct as well. Picked it up from Agincourt, not sure if they programmed it right or wrong.

I called and the service department said "what are you talking about sir A4's first service is at 8000Km." someone messed up the programming.

shouldn't there be a way to see how much your fuel consumption is at the moment you are driving. Is that feature only on the technology package?

Yes - you can toggle between current and average MPGs - READ YOUR MANUAL!!!

I believe you require the Technology Package to have those features. It is no longer available in the regular package.
