Default Question....

Can I match up Koni FSD's with H&R sport springs? Anyone have this setup? thoughts? don't want coils cause I can get a good deal on these parts thru a friend of mine and I'm never going to adjust the height so coils are overkill IMO. H&R lowers 1.7" all around, Eibach 1.5", i have no sport package so I need the other.2" for looks. Are race setting springs too low? Dont want it to be slammed just tasteful. FYI-spirited daily driver, no track, and have to drive to clients homes as well-main reason I dont want it to look obnoxious. Thanks

Default I've run FSD's with Vogtland Sport springs.

It's an ok combination. Not something I'd generally recommend. Around the street the suspension is good. On the highway it just doesn't seem settled. I wouldn't recommend the combination. I suspect H&R's and the FSD's will be very similar.

I'd recommend going with the regular KONI sports instead.

Default let me rephrase this.....

I am taking recommendations for a shock/spring set up. I heard the FSD's are the best(i like the best of course)and I need a spring that is going to lower my Buick looking A4 to a aggresive but not street racer ride height. What does everybody think? keep in mind i get deals on koni, H&R, and Eibach thru a buddy of mine. Thanks.

Thanks Mike, I'll def keep that in mind.

Default koni fsd/eibach sport would be my recco, but you want to be lower ...

otherwise it would be H&Rs w/ bilstein sports - which doesn't help you too much.

Default i was leaning towards the H&R and bilstein sports now....

my car looks terrible and I don't think the Eibachs are going to get rid of enough gap. A guy that I know with a GTI, has FSD's and neuspeed springs and its looks nice but I cant bring myself to put neuspeed products on my car. I think I'm going with the H&R/bilstein sport, its cheaper than the FSD/Eibach setup and half an inch lower. thanks guys.
