A QUESTION NO ONE WILL ANSWER
Hello all Im new to the site but have a Question i can not get answered.Here is a slight back ground. I own an 2005.5 A4 2.0T
I am getting crazy code such as airbags notfound impact sensors not found and my passenger side mirror no longer goes down in reverse. Also i seem to have a loss of power. Now both the EPC lights and the check engine light is on. Ihave the ROSS TECH scan system and have saved the information and cleared the codes twice. Both times the same codes come up for the airbags,ECT.
Now my question can the ECU be flash updated by the dealership or is it just a replacement needed.

Quick update the Audi dealer has told me 1300 euro or $1924 to replace the ECU and the right side headlamp (w/Xenon and dynamic control). No thank you looking for any ideas and maybe used parts.

They only gave me part numbers and cost. I do hate to say it but the mentality there was were right just trust us. Plus everything is in German. Now I could translate it ok and my wife sis the rest. The only thing I could get out of the guy was for me to go buy the part and they would charge me 200 euro or $300 to install it and code the keys for me. It was also explained that even though I can use the Ross Tech software to transfer the information the car will still not run until i code the keys.
