Default Rant - Parking Job

So...after a few rainy days in Houston (yeah, the car's dirty), I flew with my wife to North Carolina to look for a new home...when I returned to Houston I was welcomed by these scratches --->

for size reference

We live in townhouse, so each parking spot is designated to each tenant...our neighbor just so happened to purchase an SUV and apparently doesn't have a clue how to park it

I always park as far to the right to avoid any dings/scratches/etc....oh well. Lucky for me our new home in NC has a large garage.

sooo....what should I do? My options are:

1. Be amicable, call my insurance and file a report with the police, talk to the neighbors

*or better yet*

2. Hammer time

with the neighbors car...Jersey style

Default let it go... scratch is probably lower than your deductable unless you replace the door

go get paint from the dealer and touch it up

Default LOL..yeah, just got back from the autoshop

Demo's in Houston...the total will be a little over $700

So I talked to the neighbor about it and he agreed to pay for the damage...not bad.

Default I wouldn't mind touching it up

if it didn't reach a few millimeters into the metal
