Ok, had my front brake pads and rotors replaced. retaining springs didn't quite fit right in these new pads... but pushed them in hard enough thinking they would stay. Check for them now and they are gone! Do i need to replace and what do these actually do? manual i have says "If incorrectly installed, it is not possible to adjust the wear of the outer pad, and the pedal
travel will be increased as a result.” Not sure what this means exactly. Any help will be apreaciated!
