Small leak in EVAP system - CEL p0456

I recently had CEL# p0456 thrown on my 05.5 A4 B7 3.2L Quattro. The OBD II says its a small leak in the EVAP system. I changed the n80 purge valve and checked all the hoses. Everything looked good until I saw the hose from the air-box to the throttle body was disconnected (for god knows how long). Hopefully accounted for the recent loss of low end power. Anyways, I really haven't noticed any symptoms that are concerning besides the car taking 3-4 sec. to turn over. Also, when putting gas into the tank the pump clicks off every dollar or two.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, or you have experienced the same cel or symptoms please let me know what you did to fix it!

Update

Two days after changing the n80 purge valve the CEL turned off and has been dark since!

also there is a oring on the gas cap that gets really dry,part of a service
here is to spray that oring,that also will throw a ck lite,hope that helps down the road,
