a number of things...
gas cap seal, small crack in an evap hose, or the likely one: EVAP purge valve not closing completely on occasion.
Run basic setting 070 and 191, even though I'm sure it will pass ok, you may see something there that may indicate a sealing problem or purge valve problem

thanks...
now that you're mentioning it, it might be from the gas cap. it kept failing when i took the Avant through the smog test/control. we all thought at the time that it couldn't be the gas cap. we've kind of assumed since the car is only 3 years it had to still be in good condition... well maybe not...
