SRS Side Impact Sensor - Needs Programmed?
I just picked up an '07 A4 Avant 6MT. The seller made me aware of the fact that they had replaced the RH front door due to collision damage. Since it was replaced, the power window doesn't work and the airbag light is on. So, obviously some sort of wiring issue.
My question is, if the door was replaced outright - including the side impact sensor - would this "new" side impact sensor need to be married up with the body control module (or whatever Audi's equivalent is)? Or is this simply a wiring issue?
