Default Oh, here we go again.

1. Get coilovers. Fixed ride height setups tend to be too low or too high for most people. If you go with springs/shocks - you will not be able to sell them later. You will be kicking yourself.
2. Consider Vogtlands. Excellet product that is getting more popular on the B5 cars as people lear more and more about tuning them.

Vogs

Default Do you really like the PSS9s for street?

Or are they more of an improvement on TrackSports? I have a friend who found them too noisy on his B5. (Not sure who did the install.)

Also all that adjustability can work against someone who does nto know what to do with it.

i consider them more of an off road application - like the real STASIS kits and Penskes. Am I wrong?

Default Tomasz...

I don't find mine noisy...they are a bit european in feel..but I like that...I would not call them offroad only...I am fine on the street. Yes, the adjustability factor is like anything else..if you don't know what you are doing..you can screw yourself up. I use to have advance design shocks that were double or triple adjustable (high speed rebound..low speed rebound...Ack). This was on my old BMW race car. I just left them alone..since I had no clue how to adjust them properly. They also had adjustable camber plates..big honking wheel spacers..it just made it more confusing.

But to recap...yes I think PSS9s are fine for street use. However, I don't live in the pothole ridden east, so I don't know what to expect there.

Default Too bad.....

after visiting the KW facility - I got to talk to their head engineer and designer - not to mention see what the V3's are really made of. Interesting stuff. I think the V3's are the best coilovers i've ever used - and i've never owned a car with a stock suspension.
