Stealth bulb mod on B7

Stealth bulb mod on B7
Has anyone removed their front amber lens caps on B7? It looks like it might be possible to just remove the entire front of the bulb housing and replace the circular amber cap with a clear cap and stealth bulb. Has anyone done it?
