is there any info regarding the power that the tiptronic tranny can handle?
if i recall correctly, the b6 tranny max torque handling was ~245 ft lbs. Since the B7 tip is an upgraded six speed, whats the power handling of this version? Im only asking cause i want to chip and many chips are showing tremendous torque gains from this engine (300+ ft lbs of torque)

230 ft lbs for b6, ask someone who has access to bentley to get the ZF model number for the tranny
and look it up yourself. Ensure accurate information that way. BTW, why the hell did you get another TIP?

aww man dont hate me cause of the tip Jared...
in all honesty i really cant stand a manual in the city. Since i work and play in NYC all the time, it can be really crazy sometimes w/a manual while trying to do other things at the same time.

Well
As of about 3 months or so ago APR equiped my car with the first direct port tip program on the street here in the US...As of now I can report no issues AT ALL with the car, not a single code thrown...just a very very solid upgrade that now has the car producing 5.9 to 60 day in and day out over the last 40 or so timed runs.
MPG has gone up 1-2 MPG per gallon...again no issue what so ever with the car or the tranny.

this is the 2nd time I've seen someone claim this. Question, though..
Stock 3.2L V6 puts out 243 ft-lbs of torque but uses the same tranny. Assuming that you are talking about WTQ not at the cranks?
