Unreadable CD

Anyone seen this onscreen? I can play it immediately after inserting in CD changer or if it follows the last song from previous CD. However, I cannot choose it from the CD list as it shows "Unreadable CD". Fast forward and skip still works. The driver information display says "CD error". CD was bought in New Zealand, maybe different copy protection? Will new RNS-E software fix?

Faulty unit most likely - just go back to the dealer and get it replaced

If it's only that CD it's the cd's fault!

Ditto, I have 1 CD that won't play, but everything else works perfectly.

it started out on mine as one cd but progressed quickly to all cd's. Is it easy to swap out a cd player on a A4 B8?

On the B7 A4 yes, it's pretty easy with the right clip tools. However, you want the B8 forum, not here.
