why with the ugly stick?

why with the ugly stick?
I'm sorry, but I am not a fan of the new Audis at all. Maybe its a case of old school pride, but the big grille and the new rear ligts just do not do it for me. It looks too refined and lacks the aggressiveness of the b5 and b6. Just my 2 cents.

Re: why with the ugly stick?
i would disagree... i went to the dealer specially to check out the new A6... they had one on display... and i am now a believer that these cars actually look different in person.
somehow i was soo impressed that i wanted to talk numbers with the sales guy.... but refrained cause i will be getting married in Dec... and didnt want another expense on my hands.
nonetheless, i would say the same abt the B7 ... its got a lot more refinement internally .... but externally its going to be a good looking car also... as for aggresiveness... the bigger bolder grill implies just that.

Because it's a move that Honda can't follow. Seriously, BMW and Audi both adopted their new styles specifically because it's a move to differentiate the product that other car companies can't match.
No one will mistake the B7 A4 with the Honda Accord like you could with the B6. If Honda tried to follow, they'd alienate huge numbers of their buyers.
As the technology gap closes (everyone offers 200+ V6 engines, 5 speed automatic transmissions, and good safety scores) the car companies have to focus on eletric gimics (like iDrive and Nav systems) or on pure design
