Window tint question

I want to get tinting on my Ibis/S-Line Ti avant. So my question is, what is a nice - nearly legal in CA %, that is very neutral grey colored tint? Is there one brand or type of tint that is superior? Lastly, anyone know of a place in the So. Bay (L.A.) to get a good tint job?

I got it done at Pro Tint, in Temple City. The guy there said there is no legal color for front windows. California law doesn't allow any tint at all for front windows. But police ususally doesn't pick on Audi, they ususally pick on civic, intregra, etc. Unless you mod your car TOO crazy, then u'll be fine.

I did 50% on the front and 35% on the rest.

No tint on the front windows is legal in CA. I thought stepping it would be less "offensive" to the bored patrol man.
