X-Post.... Red Interior Lights...
I know I have a B6 but figured I might as well post here in case any of you guys were considering this.
Big thanks to Tgr_Clw from the B6 forum for helping me out with some camera settings and exposures for night shots. It was hot outside and buggy, but I'll continue to play around with settings and perfect the shots. I was a little lazy and I know where there is a perfectly dark place that I can take as much time as I want and it's safe, but it's a 30 mile drive each way. For now a pinch of background light will have to do
I really love the glove of red my car gives off when I unlock my doors and when I open the doors especially. Practicality wise... the lights don't throw off a great deal of light and particularly not if you want to find something at night, but that's why I did the independent map light mod and why I have a Touareg Torch as well.

I didn't use LEDs, because...
I think I remember hearing someone say because they're directional they might not fill nicely at all... so I just went with the bulbs that are coated red.

Interesting... I think that'll look good at night vs the standard bulb.
If you want to see something that is "pimped" out beautifully, check out the A8 interior lights. It's awesome.
For shots at night... use the lowest ISO and a tripod.

Unfortunately I bought them at a local store and I don't really have a recollection of what bulb #'s
... I will check for you as I know I have the boxes somewhere saved in case the bulbs burn out + I have the old bulbs sitting in them to switch back whenever I sell the car. I'll let you know once I find them.
