Default 2.0T no heat, lower radiator hose cold

What it cause the above after water pump/thermostat change due to coolant leak from pump?

It is the thermostat that opens the path to the radiator (upper hose). The lower radiator hose is the return from the radiator to the coolant pump.
On the Gen1/Gen2, it's just a reactive device, gets hot, opens. What is the coolant temp reported by the engine control module? The thermostat doesn't start opening until at least mid 90s (°C) and should be fully open by 105°C.
On the Gen3, it's a managed electrically operated device.

im not sure if english is your first language but im not sure what you are trying to say ...

sounds like there may be an air pocket in the system..
