2011 Audi A4 Wagon Losing Oil Fast!
I say losing oil because it is not leaking it. I see no oil on the ground, where I park my car. And I drive this car less than 400 miles per month. It is my second car. But I like the car and am emotionally attached to it and do not want to sell it. The car is 12 yrs old and has less than 65k miles on it. It runs great. The only problem is it is "eating oil". When I say "eating oil", I mean the oil is not leaking. I am 100% sure of it. But the oil is disappearing into thin air. And fast. I mean I have to add 1 Quart of oil every 200 miles. I fill up the oil. Then 200 miles later, the dashboard sign "Add 1 Quart of Oil" comes up, again. And so on. This used to happen every 500-600 miles, now it is every 200 miles. What do you think is going on?

Have to assume it's the universal EA888 Gen2 2.0T engine used in the B8 vehicles (CAEB for US emissions) issue of the piston rings. Mine started just before 80k miles. You're right in that common distance for it to start, 60-80k. There's numerous discussion over the past 10 years across the Internet of the issue. It's very well known. Check the B8 A4 forums here and at audizine.
