did some checking around. found an LA audi dealer with the A4 estimates.

auto 22/30
manny 21/29
WTF?
I thought the engine enhancements and electric power steering was going to boost efficiency by as much as 10%?
The auto went up 1MPG, highway mileage on the manny goes DOWN!
Hell, when the 328IX comes out, it will certainly better better than this, at least 22/32, which is what the 528ix gets in 8 speed auto.

My guess is mpgs did not change at all.
I am pretty sure there have been no engine enhancements whatsoever, and the electric steering probably did not improve things enough to survive the round-off to the nearest integer. I doubt it is more than 1-2%.
Where did you see with 10% improvement???

I drove a 2013 today....
The front end looks good IMO, much more aggressive. The taillights are a tad sharper but other than that the body is unchanged. Didn't take pics, figured there are plenty going around.
MMI upgrade was what I wanted to see, Bluetooth streaming, better map and easier to navigate. I didn't spend a lot of time messing with it but I was satisfied.
Drive wise it was still a solid 2.0T, I don't own an A4 so it's tough to comment on any changes based on just test driving both models.
A 2.0 Q P+ with Sport package, Nav, B&O, advanced key came up to 45k, makes me wonder what the Q5 will run.

The rear tail lights have also been trimmed for a sharper thinner look. The changes are purely cosmetic, engine specs haven't changed from 2012 to 2013. Aside from that, they changed around the standard options that come in the packages, at least in Canada, not sure about the US.
I wonder will the 2013's be a B9? or still under the B8 category? Not sure if the body types change for minor stuff like this or for full rebuilds. I'm still new to the wonderful world of Audi.
