Hello fellow Audi lovers. I appreciate any help offered in advance.

I've just installed a JL Audio Amp and a SL1 Line out converter.

I've been searching threads forever and found a great writeup.

I cut the subwoofer speaker wires and tied them into the SL1 and everything is working. However my rear bottom door speaker produce NO sound. I'm pretty sure they did before but could be wrong.

I do have MMI and Nav. I do not have B&O. My question is, when i cut the factory sub wire did i effect the rear bottom door speakers in some way?

The MMI system actually adjusts the sound of the sub through DPS which i wasnt expecting. When i change the balance settings to the back only the tweeters produce sound and it doesn't sound great.

I'm hoping the speakers are blown but I ran out of daylight to check it out.

I'm also hoping to find the correct wiring diagram. And learn how to tie into the optical input i keep reading is in the factory amp.

No, the rear door speakers are not related to the subwoofer. They are on independent channels. And the rear door tweeters and rear door woofers are on the same channel. So if the rear door tweeters are working but the rear door woofers are not, more likely the woofers are simply blown.

Do a scan and check if the system has shut those channels down as a protection when you were doing your work. Once you clear the errors, it could start working.
