What are people griping about trim? Is the wood delaminating or something?
...seems like a downgrade from the '09 S-Line standard brushed stainless trim with piano black console.
any idea why they aren't even offering the Carbon Atlas 5MK that was standard on the S4? I might be interested in a spare set of that but not that oCarbon wrap. Seems like a wrap would defeat the point of buying new trim since you can send your current trim to Matt and he'll wrap it for you if you are into that.

First of all, I happen to LIKE the standard aluminum hologram trim.
But if I didn't, I sure as hell would have ordered the wood trim for $395 at purchase instead of upwards of $1,000 in the aftermarket.
I'm all for modding, but pissing away money annoys me.

Some of us didn't even get the standard aluminum hologram trim (which I would have been happy with) towards the latter half of 2010 because Audi's supplier had issues. They replaced it with a painted plastic trim that looks like it belongs in a Toyota Yaris. Audi did give a roughly $400 credit so I plan on applying it towards either the brushed aluminum or possibly the silver carbon fiber, but in no way would I pay $1K+.

The only NA wood option on an A4 P or P+ is aluminum hologram or shiny dark Walnut...which of course I would have ordered from the factory...had I wanted shiny Walnut.
However, if you want the custom Euro woods or other metallic trim sets, you are going to pay. Good luck finding a better price than this group buy. I have been searching daily for over 3 months. Ebay.de is dry as a bone. This is the best deal around.
But again, if you like your current trim...good for you.

I wouldn't be looking at ebay.de though... I would be posting in German Audi forums as I have seen numerous requests in the past on Dub sites for trim swaps. They want the NA pieces just like you want their options. I'm sure there are similar Audi forums.
While it may be a discount from the retail rape some people accept for OEM+ type mods, it certainly is not any kind of bargain as precinder2 and Alphatero pointed out. If you wait until after winter, I'm sure there will be more than a few Euro donor cars with the trims you seek at much better prices...
Anyways thanks for clarifying that there is no problem with your trims other than the fact that you don't like how it looks. Power to you in recreating a manner you enjoy.
