Noob here...I bought my first Audi 4 years ago. It's a 2009 A4 Premium. Just a simple base model w/ no upgrades (not even bluetooth/iPhone connection). Never mind the terrible shopping experience I had at Audi West Houston -- story for another day.

I've been told by the dealership that it is physically impossible to add bluetooth to my vehicle even though it has a button that says 'Tel' because this has to be done at time of manufacturing. I could add the iPhone support, but I've just been using the AUX port just fine.

Can anybody confirm the dealer's remarks? We just bought a 2008 Q7 3.6L Premium and it has bluetooth, so now it's got me thinking more about my A4 again.

The price of the modules and the wiring needed to add Bluetooth would cost more than a first class vacation to Ingolstadt to slap the face of the guy that sets the prices.

You would be better off to sell your car and buy one that has the module, antenna, connections and programming. Bluetooth adds nothing to the value of a used car, even though many people paid $500. as a stand alone option.

Thanks, @Moviela. I figured that much, but was just curious. No plans on purchasing a new A4 as I'm still happy with the one I have.
