Can someone describe this noise a little better?

I have a sort of "creaky- squeaky" noise in the rear - I've only noticed it in sloped parking garages where I was going over speed humps at less than 10mph. Sounded simply like a creaky suspension. Don't hear it normally, however and never thought twice about it.

I DON'T have sport suspension. Mine's a 2011. I believe March or April.

We are describing a front end noise. The rear end of my car is silent.

If you've ever driven a car with a front suspension that's dangerously worn out, that's what it sounds like.

That's right. Mine was built around mid March of 2011.

I wonder if there is a large batch of defective struts produced. OP suggested his were replaced and there was no change in the condition...

I meant to say mine was built 10/2010 not 2011 and doesn't have it.

More updates, changed out the front struts at the dealer, guess what, same clanky noise. At this rate, if it continues, I am switching out of the 4 ring circus

Stan, did you have the struts changed within the past day or two?

Had them changed out less than 48 hours ago. I am not sure what the production date of the actual shocks is (I can check later on, should be on the label). After some driving yesterday, I put about 150 miles extra, I am starting to postulate that it could be looseness in the front differential output flange. Again, just a guess at to what is left as everything else has already been changed or redone

Has anyone checked the heat shields between the rear driveshaft and exhaust?

The reason I ask is I recently went over a deer carcass on the highway the result caused a clanking/rubbing noise over bumps and during accerleration at times. I could have sworn it was coming from the front end when I was listening from inside the car.

I lifted the car and got underneath and checked for any interference or tight clearances and found the offending heat shield lightly contacting the rear driveshaft. I bent it back into shape and no more noise.

This may not be your problem but it is worth checking.

Checked all shields and they are in normal shape. Lately, it clearly sounds like something is loose and rattling under the throttle/brake peddle.

Got through the first three posts only: What the HECK does the noise sound like??? Is it a grinding noise, a chirping noise, a whirring noise, a clunking noise? Come on.

If this has been mentioned now in later posts, my apology. Just thought I suggest including that in the original post.
