approaching 2,000 miles, to ecu or not to ecu?
Sorry if this has been brought up before but i'm wondering if I should chip my car now, it has almost 2,000 miles on it. I purchased the Audi Care when I got the car but hope ecu chipping won't void any of my services.
If so, would you guys go APR or Stasis? I hear APR is better bang for the buck but Stasis will cover you for warranties?
I live in Northern Virginia, do any of you know where to go for ecu tuning?
I looked up NGP in Lorton and Funktion Performance in Sterling. NGP said they don't carry the APR ECU tuning for the 2011 8 speed tips yet. Funktion does stasis but they are a independent stasis installer, does that mean no warranty intact? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
You are in luck... Stasis left my area and moved closer to you. They are headquartered at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia.
I'll post a link to a thread discussing all this when I get home from dinner.
best regards
