Default For a minute I read that as they sold more R8s than A5s... lol

More A5s in December than all of their R8s sales... Slight difference.

Default All things considering with the economy, that is an amazing feat.

Goes to show what an incredible car company Audi currently is.

Default Not really - the drop in sales is nearly double that of VW....

VW was down 8.2% for December and 3.3% for the year...

True. But compared to most other manufacturers, any sort of gain is noteworthy.

Sole reason why we don't see any type of incentive on these models :-(

Default We have two Audi dealers in our "big town" -- and I virtually never. . .

. . .see an A5 or B8 A4. I have seen 2 R8's, however and one S5 -- and truth be told, I can't recall ever seeing a B8 (other than my own.)

Don't get me wrong, I like some exclusivity, but you can throw a rock and hit a BMW (3 or 5 series) and you see a fair amount of A6's and I've seen several S6's -- where o where are the A4's -- and I don't even see any with the 19" wheels (like mine) at the dealership.

Default That's what I like! In my town most Audi drivers are 50+ and usually ladies. Not that...

37 is a kid, but definitely an older demographic here. But I love two things about it: younger Audi drivers always nod or wave when we see each other on the road, and my car always feels a little more special than the 'me too' BMW crowd.

But as Audis get more and more attention, the 'me too' crowd shift focus this way... the RS4 even displaced the M3 as the cockmobile on Top Gear, so you know it is happening.
