Default Battery coding

I have a 2010 a4 b8 I don’t know if I coded my battery right I got a 95ah 950cca diehard h8 I didn’t really know which Ben code to use because there was none on it so I looked it up for a while and tried one it was accepted. Can anyone let me know if I did it right?

@xandermacha P/N 000-915-105-DK is a conventional flooded lead-acid H8 starter battery. If youf replacement is the same type/size, just change one of the digits of the serial number to "recode". --g

If it's a wet-flood H8, then DK should be correct.
If it's an AGM H8, then it should have been CE.
Appears the only AGM for DieHard are the Platinum AGM.

The battery type and size your car was made with would be confirmed by the battery PR code.
You'd have to find your PR codes sticker and find the Jxx code. H8 wet-flood would be J1U.

Battery size 7 is H8 wet-flood, as expected for rev DK.
But the J533 seems displeased about something, never seen battery type not ok.
Maybe it just needs some time. Everything else looks as expected.

You're missing the front question. Is the battery an AGM or not an AGM? That's all that matters, along with the battery size. The J533 seems to be happier with it defined as an AGM, but is it actually an AGM?

Ok, so yeah, then you've corrected the coding to the proper part number revision.

Interesting that the J533 was able to determine that. Never had screencaps documenting the situation. I guess it figured it out because the concluded internal resistance is simply too low for a typical wet flood.
