battery compartment cover
2008 A4 - does the battery and brake fluid reservoir area have a cover or is it open ?? I just picked up this car and am not sure. My passat that i traded in had a cover over thsis area - please let me know. These are sometime left off/forgotten when serviced.

If you're from north America you probably have a B7 A4. If so you will most likely get better answers in that part of the forum. If you however are from EU, or some other country where the B8 started rolling out in autumn 2007, the B8 have it's battery in the trunk and yes, there is a cover between the firewall and windshield.
